Akali Singh Sikh Society has established a Library under the name of a Canadian Martyr, Bhai Mewa Singh to honour him and to recognize and remember him for why he laid his life for the Indo-Canadian community.
This library has a very good collection of books on Sikh religion and history. People are encouraged to read books on the Sikh religion and its history. Books are issued to people, which are supposed to be returned within a specific time frame. People are encouraged to read books and return the books within a time frame set by the voluntary librarian so others could read and benefit from these books.
